OLW - Grateful

"Insecurity is one of my imperfections I always deal. I always have a hard time to appreciate and believe in myself. It takes a lot of encouragement and support before I set my foot forward. I push myself to get out of my comfort zone and try new things. Enjoy, learn and have fun to develop my creativity. Meet new friends and enjoy with new company. And these help me a lot to overcome my insecurities. And I am GRATEFUL for this."  June 2013

Scrapping Circles

I do love polka dots, tiny drops  and splatters but I always have a hard time to create a page with circles. It took ages before I complete a page with round elements. Heather from Scrappin Peeps inspires us to make a page using below sketch and I combined it with AAB (About A Boy - Going In Circles).

Embossing - Old Fashion Way

Hello everyone! Hope you had a great weekend. Mine's great! My Sunday afternoon ended up WONDERFUL! Got a new bag! Yay! *big smile*. It's a casual shoulder bag with great prints and color. Love it!

Beautiful prints right? Just want to have this print in my page. Maybe, in a patterned paper, embellish or even an embossed image of this. Speaking of embossed image, Irma from Scrappin Peep inspires us to make a card using any embossing technique (either stamping & heat embossing, dry embossing or an embossing folder). Believe me or not, I have no embossing tool, that means no embossing powder too. So I came up with another idea. Did it in old fashion way.

Here's how :

attach wood veneer on the cardstock

place patterned paper on top, rub with colored
                                         pencil until image reveal

Hello everyone. I had so much fun doing my anniversary challenge and celebration last month. So I decided to throw another challenge this month. A sketch challenge. It will be a month long challenge. Her title and journaling tells and showcase her photos very well. So glad she joined me here in my first sketch challenge. At the end of the month, Connie will pick a winner and we will send a scrappy goodies.
