Welcome to another stop of the recognized “Scrapbooker’s
Blog Tour” and I am honoured and excited when talented Aurelie Cormier invited me to be
a part of it. Aurelie’s work always inspires me, her neat and amazing projects
is a great source of inspiration. Thank you Aurelie! To take a peek on her tour

1. What am I working on right now?
I am presently having fun playing with Teresa Collins -
Tinsel and Company , Pink Paislee – Merry and Bright using last year Christmas
photos. I am also working with some DT assignments using some free goodies from
SCT Scrapbook and Cards Today. All these projects will be posted over at SSIBScrapStuffz Inspired By, Let’s Capture Our Memories and Let’s Get Sketchy.
2. How long does it take me to create
a project?
It varies from time to time. Given the nature of my work
(caregiver during the day) I can only play at night for an hour or two but more
fun time during weekends. Making simple pages consume an hour or two hours. Using
paints, gesso, molding paste and other mixed media adds some time for drying.
If others nibble while scrapping, I watch. I love watching or listening to
music while playing.
3. What are my favourite things to
create at the moment?
I am currently inlove working with vellum! Yes, vellum!
From title to matting, framing and printing photos.
4. How does my writing/creating
process work?
I love using sketches. Most of my pages start with it. I do
enjoy single page with one or two photos but using multiple photos always get
my attention. In terms of paper choice, I like playing with different paper, unexpected
combination always ended a happy accident. But I admit working with collection
saves a lot of time, everything is coordinated, easy to play with.
5. How do I become inspired and stay
inspired?
Challenges, Pinterest and Blogs keep my crafty side alive. Sketches,
fashion, magazines and books are also source of my inspiration. I love watching
videos too. I also keep an eye to my
fellow Design Team Members creations, they are amazing! Tons of ideas and
ingenious designs, absolutely inspiring!
6. What is my signature style?
I don’t have one. I love and dare to try everything. I pull
whatever I like from all different types of styles and techniques. But adding a fair amount of inks, paints and
textures is my thing. I am not a big fan of bold patterns and colours. I do admire and appreciate flowers and blings
but I rarely use them. I always have a hard time putting them all together.
Ok, I think I covered it all! Thank you for dropping by and
now it’s time to tag some scrapbookers I love!
The girl behind the beautiful textures, paints and inks! A
true nature lover and 100% country in heart and deeds. Love her use of upcycle stuff and her very own embellishments from the things surround her.
I really love Carolyn’s neat and clean
designs. She always awe me with her
pages using multiple photos and still showcase beautiful use of different paper
patterned and elements.
