I love fall, love the colors; the shade of red, gold, orange leaves is enchanting. I also love the smell and the taste of warm apple cider. This is also the time for “Pumpkin Mania” from lattes to ales, pies to waffles, and don’t forget the fun at pumpkin patch! Halloween and Thanksgiving also celebrated in Fall, so many reasons to “fall” in love” with this season .

Below photo was taken last year, a friend of mine and her mom at the pumpkin patch.  I used Simple Stories Harvest Lane and Basic Grey Alphas..

It’s been a while since my last card, so I am glad and thankful I pulled this out using my fall stash from last year. Birch tree frame is a Silhouette cut file , patterend paper, MME and the rest are from Michaels.

SCT Magazine Fall 2014 Issue

And the wait is over! I finally got my copy of Scrapbook and Card Today Magazine Fall 2014 Issue, and I am honoured to be a part of it.

Below page can be found on page 65 and it’s inspired by Page Drafts Sketch #3.2 by The Nifty Pixel.

I am so thrilled about this publication, my first time at SCT! Yay! Photos were taken last year, 2014 Halloween. We had so much fun decorating and preparing our “Spooky Table”. My sweet friend Aiden (not my son, but his Mom said I can take part of her motherhood, LOL) helped me out to make the meat head. We used plastic skull and wrapped with parma ham. The rest are cheesecream and olive. Totally sensational!

SSIB - Double The Fun Challenge

It’s double the fun time at SSIB this month. The team provided two great photos to play with.

I am totally inspired by the Ferris wheel from the first photo so I decided to make a card. Love every details in EP summertime ferriswheel cut file in Silhouette store and an oversize card is perfect to showcase them.

Love the addition of enamel dots, it gives more fun!

Second photo gave me a great push to use Authentique Curiosity Collection, great for school theme project. I used LCOM Sketch#88 by Ana Castro.

using vellum is my addiction right now, multiple images printed in cardstock then layer with vellum.

I admit a slice of intimidation hit me while I’m doing this page because of the pattern paper. It’s too late when I realize I should use some plain paper in contrast to the bold pattern. But it’s fine. I’m still happy for the outcome and the best part is I managed to overcome my “self critism” and be thankful for what I’ve done.

Hope this photo and projects inspire you and looking forward to see your take. Submission will run until the end of this month and you can link up your project HERE.

Thanks for dropping by!

Ciao!
